ABOUT ME

Aaron Sawyer is known to his clients and colleagues as the one-stop-shop for all thing’s media. He uses his resources, creativity, and connections to produce high-quality content for an array of clientele. His unique style and creative mind separate him from others in his market in Hampton Roads, VA. Aaron is a Public Relations Master of Arts (PRMA) student at Full Sail University in Orlando, Fl. He received his Bachelor’s degree from Norfolk State University in December of 2019. While pursuing his master’s degree, he is building his company and brand, Peculiarbrandz Production.

Growing up in his hometown of Moyock, NC, Aaron Sawyer learned of his passion for Public Relations and content creating when he was in high school. Upon graduating from high school, Aaron did one year of undergrad work but decided to pursue a job in sales and stopped attending school. It was about seven years later when he realized retail and sales was not his passion and that his heart was still in Public Relations and communications. During a seven-year break from school, Aaron had the opportunity to serve at his church Mt. Zion Church of God in Christ Deliverance Center as a media department volunteer. Aaron enjoyed planning youth events for his church, creating promotional materials for each event, and producing service rundowns. Aaron also served on the executive committee as Executive Administrative Assistant to the AIM Chairman for the Greater North Carolina Jurisdiction AIM Convention, which is one of the largest youth conventions in Eastern NC. Working in these various roles helped mold and motivate Aaron into returning to school for public relations and media.

Aaron desires to become one of the leading public relations and media companies in Hampton Roads, Virginia. Aaron had dedicated his later years to gaining the knowledge and education to become the best that he can be in his field. Aaron strives on the motto, “Time may have passed, but as long there is still ticking, the hands will keep moving.”
